How to Get Started with SigmaTesting

    INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO GET STARTED USING SIGMATESTING

    • Step 1: Complete the SigmaTesting.com Account Application
    • Step 2: Receive confirmation of your qualifications level, and account log in information
    • Step 3: Access SigmaTesting using the log in information
    • Step 4: Purchase tests online
    • Step 5: Add client and assign test
    • Step 6: Log in to generate report

    Step 1: Complete the SigmaTesting.com Account Application

    • In accordance with long-standing guidelines developed by the American Psychological Association (APA), some assessments require certain levels of training, experience, and/or education before they can be purchased and administered. The intent is to ensure responsible test use and accurate interpretation.
    • Please complete the SigmaTesting Account Application form to register for an online testing account. It should only take a moment. We will review your application and determine your test user qualification level.

    Step 2: Receive confirmation of your qualifications level, and account log in information

    • You can expect to receive confirmation from SIGMA support regarding your qualifications level within 2-4 business days. SIGMA support will also send you an email from support@sigmatesting.com with your log in information. Be sure to whitelist this email address.

    Step 3: Access SigmaTesting using the log in information

    • The log in email contains your account code, a temporary password, and a fastlink. You can click on the fastlink to begin logging into your account. The fastlink fills in your account code information for you. You will need to enter the temporary password.
    • The first time you sign in, you will be presented with SIGMA's Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions of Use for SigmaTesting. Please review both documents and accept to continue. 
    • You will then be asked to create your own password and select two security questions and answers. You will be required to answer one of your security questions should you ever forget your password and the reset password option is not available to you. Click on the SAVE button at the bottom of the page to save any changes you make.

    Step 4: Purchase tests online

    • To place an order within your account, click on the PURCHASE TESTS button. Then click on the PURCHASE ONLINE button. Enter the quantity of each assessment that you wish to purchase and click NEXT. Review your order and enter your credit card information, click NEXT.
    • Your order will be available to you as soon as your complete the process above.

    Step 5: Add client and assign test

    • Return to the YOUR ACCOUNT or HOME page. Click on the CLIENTS button. Click on the ADD CLIENT button. Enter your client's first name and last name. If you want to email the instructions, also add your client's email address. Language?? Scroll to the bottom of the page and click SAVE.
    • Your Available Tests will display on the following page. If you have not purchased any assessments, this page may not have any available tests. To assign a test, click the checkbox beside the assessment name. If you are emailing instructions, click the checkbox under EMAIL INSTRUCTIONS beside the assessment name. Clicking the EMAIL INSTRUCTIONS checkbox first will also click the checkbox beside the assessment name. Reminders can be added at the time of assignment. Reminder emails would send by SIGMA's platform automatically on your behalf. They can occur as often as daily up to every 14 days. Be sure to set the stop date for the reminders as well. Click the ASSIGN TESTS button once complete.
    • A confirmation message will display. If the information is correct, click OK to confirm.

    Step 6: Log in to generate report

    Once the client completes the assessment, you will receive a confirmation email from SIGMA Support that your client has completed the test. 

    • Log into your SigmaTesting account. Click on the CLIENTS button. Locate your client. If your client is not displaying, use the NEXT button to go to the next screen or use the List Options at the bottom of the page to manage the various sorting options.  Click SELECT beside your client's name. Locate the assessment you wish to generate the report for. Click SELECT beside the assessment. Click the REPORT button to generate the report. Click VIEW REPORT and a PDF report will generate and open in a new window. Save to your files.
    • Some reports can also be emailed. Click EMAIL REPORTS. You will enter the 'to' email address and compose a message. Click the checkbox beside the disclosure statement. You are confirming that the email is being sent for assessment purposes only, and that sending the email does not contravene local privacy and anti-spam legislation. Click SEND. A confirmation email will display. If the information is correct, click OK.
    • The ability to export data from reports is also available. Click EXPORT. Check or uncheck the boxes that you want as part of your export. The format options for downloading are Comma Delimited, Fixed Text, Name=Values Pairs, and Tab Delimited. Click EXPORT. Click  VIEW EXPORT. The file will download to your computer. Save to your files.
